Caring Together Annual General Meeting + Carers Week event
at Church House, Flowergate, Whitby, YO21 3BA
We invite you to become a member of Caring Together Whitby and District, and to elect our Board of Trustees at our AGM.
We are also looking to recruit a Secretary and Treasurer to help steer us through difficult financial times and ensure we are able to continue to offer our services.
We are sad to say 'goodbye' and thanks to two long-standing Trustees - Doreen and Heather - who have supported us for many years; and we wish them well.
Afternoon tea - in celebration of Carers Week - follows our AGM, and you are invited to join us for cakes and a social.
Let us know if you intend to come along so we make sure we have enough!

Fundraiser at Aislaby YCA
The Craft Association at Aislaby are kindly supporting us on this date through their event at Aislaby Village Hall. Many thanks - we have a long way to go, but all these efforts make a difference and help us to feel valued.
13 - 15 July at Whitby Spa - Quilt show
We have heard that we will benefit from funds raised at the annual Whitby Quilt show which runs over the weekend at the start of the summer holiday. Again, thank you to all the organisers who have offered to support us in this way .... please go along and see their wonderful craft and design skills.

Rural Community Breakfasts in Lythe
On a monthly basis, at Lythe Village Hall we invite you to a 'bacon buttie and a cuppa' - and often a guest speaker. A donation of £3.50 towards refreshments is appreciated.
Breakfast is on offer once a month on Wednesday mornings so if you fancy getting out and joining in but need some help with mobility or transport issues, please contact Isabelle Harrison through the 'Caring Together' office on 01947 605757
Community Breakfast dates and speakers:
6th June : Music with the 'Eskuleles'
4th July : Trip out to Mulgrave Gardens
Note : If we are out of the office and you want to leave a message please remember to leave your name and your phone number ... so we can get back to you. Thanks.
In partnership with Goathland Church and the Mallean Spout hotel, we are pleased to welcome older people in and around Goathland to a friendship group.
Through the winter months we hope to offer the chance for a local social, with a small charge for the coffee and cake (£3.50) to stave off the 'winter blues'.
If you are interested, please contact Isabelle Harrison at the Caring Together office on 01947 60575 or for further information follow this link.
